Repair service is available for lav mics (connector end), boom poles, and many types of cables typically used by production sound mixers. We require you call/email for a repair authorization before sending anything. Standard bench rate of $80/hr., billed in $40 half-hour increments, applies to all cable and boom pole repairs in addition to the cost of replacement parts. Lav Mic Repair
We are able to terminate all makes of lavalier microphones for all brands of wireless transmitters. Whether you have a short that needs a new connection or want to re-terminate your lavs to work with upgraded transmitters, Lile Sound Lab has you covered. All lavs are tested for proper function with ears to ensure they are not only to spec but free from intermittence and other potential issues. No guess work here. For now we do not offer repairs at the capsule end of lav mics but we aim to change that soon.

Boom Pole Repair
Have a short in your internal cable? Just want to replace your mic-end XLR with a different type? We got you. At the moment, we only focus on repairs regarding the internal cabling and connectors of boom poles and replacing other broken or worn parts (pole sections, knuckles, bumpers, etc.) that are obtainable from the manufacturer. We can even give it a good cleaning and getting it sliding with ease while it’s in. We currently do not have capabilities to repair breaks in pole sections or bad knuckle threading. Standard bench rate of $80/hr., billed in $40 half-hour increments, applies to all boom pole repairs.
Cable Repair
If it’s fixable, we can fix it. We can diagnose your broken cables and pinpoint exactly where the problem is before digging around and opening up connectors unnecessarily. All cables are welcome. Tiny connectors? No problem! Umbilical Breakaways? Can’t scare us! Give us a call/email and we’ll see if we can fix it up.
